Counteracting marginalisation and social exclusion is a very important mission. Centres and clubs for social integration - through professional and social reintegration - serve this mission. - A lot has changed in the 15 years since the Social Employment Act came into force. To make these activities more effective, we have prepared a draft amendment to the Act - explains the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.

On Saturday, further meetings with families were held in Wielkopolska with the participation of the Speaker of the Sejm, Elżbieta Witek, and the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg. The meetings were mainly devoted to discussions about the assumptions of the Polish Order - about what is most important for families.

On Friday the Minister for Family and Social Policy visited Podkarpacie, where she spoke above all about the principles of the Polish Order. - Polish Order also meets the needs of people with disabilities or those requiring special support - emphasised the minister during a press briefing at the Community Self-Help Centre in Lubaczów. In Horyniec-Zdrój she spoke with the residents during a family picnic.

On Thursday Marlena Maląg, the Minister of Family and Social Policy, visited Łężany, a village in the commune of Miejsce Piastowe, this year's winner of the "Self-government PRO FAMILIA 2021" competition. - The commune of Miejsce Piastowe is an example of how pro-family policy can be well implemented by creating a broad coalition of the government, local government, NGOs and employers - said Minister Maląg.

- The government keeps all its promises and introduces new pro-family solutions - Minister Marlena Maląg said on Thursday to the participants of a family picnic in Chorzelów. This refers, among others, to the Family Welfare Capital, announced in the Polish Order. The bill will soon go to public consultation.

Social consultations of the draft Demographic Strategy - a document setting out the directions for actions until 2040 - are beginning. In the first voivodeships - Zachodniopomorskie and Lubuskie - they will start this week. - We encourage everyone who is not indifferent to the future of Poland, Polish families, future generations and our common future to participate in the consultations," says the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.

On 1 July this year, the call for applications for this year's edition of the "Good start" programme will begin. It is 300 PLN for a school starter kit for each child learning. - This year the applications will be submitted only online. For this purpose we can use e-banking, Empatia portal or PUE ZUS. It is really simple - assures the Minister of Family and Social Policy Marlena Maląg.

The 9th Outdoor National Convention of Large Families is held on the first weekend of summer holidays in Warsaw. The families gathered here in large numbers show that the power of family determines the future of society as a whole.

The concept of de-institutionalisation assumes a shift from institutional care to care provided in the family environment and local community. It has been included in the “Strategy for the development of social services” prepared at the Ministry of Family. The document has just been referred for consultation.

On 15 June, the Council of Ministers adopted a draft regulation amending the rules for the call for applications to the “Good Start” programme for the 2021/2022 schoolyear. According to them, from now on, the applications can only be submitted electronically and the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) will handle the fully automated process. The call according to the new rules will start pursuant to a regular schedule – on 1 July and will end on 30 November.
