23.10.2024Unemployment in September 2024 at 5 per cent. CSO confirms MFLSP estimatesThe registered unemployment rate at the end of September 2024 was 5 per cent. The Central Statistical Office has thus confirmed the estimates of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy. The number of unemployed was even lower than we had forecast, at just under 770,000.

At the end of the government side's term, a representative of the employees' side - the President of the Independent Self-Governing Trade Union 'Solidarność' Piotr Duda - will take over the presidency.

04.10.2024Number of unemployed persons in September is record low in more than 30 yearsThe registered unemployment rate at the end of September this year, according to estimates by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy, was 5%. 771,000 persons were still unemployed – September marks the lowest number of registered unemployed persons since the first measurement in 1990.
