The child-rearing benefit under the Family 800+ programme is granted for each learning child up to the age of 18, regardless of the family's income. The Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) is in charge of accepting and processing applications, as well as granting and paying the benefit.

The new benefit period will start on 1 June 2025 and last until 31 May 2026. We would like to remind you that to continue receiving the benefit – as every year – it is necessary to submit a new application.

Parent, apply now!

Applications can be submitted from 1 February this year exclusively via electronic means. Several channels are available to parents and carers:

• PUE ZUS platform or mZUS mobile application,
• mp@tia information and service portal at empatia.mpips.gov.pl,
• electronic banking.

The benefit will be paid only in non-cash form to the account number indicated in the application.

Important deadlines!

Want to keep your 800+ payment going? Remember to submit your application by 30 April – then the money will still reach you in June. Submitting your application by the end of June 2025 will guarantee payment of the benefit with compensation from 1 June this year.

Note! If you are late and submit the application e.g., in August, you will be entitled to the benefit from the month of submitting the application – that is from August, without compensation for previous months. There is no point in delaying!
