PLN 40 million for the activation of foreigners. The Minister of Family announced the competition

Self-governments, non-governmental organisations and labour market institutions may apply for Labour Fund funds for professional activation and integration of foreigners legally staying in Poland. The Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg announced a competition under the Ministerial Activation Programme for Foreigners.

PLN 40 million for the activation of foreigners

The objective of the programme is to promote professional activation and social integration of foreigners who left their country in fear of losing health or life due to the ongoing armed conflict - says the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.

The competition entitled “Together we can do more – the first edition of the Activation Programme for Foreigners for the years 2022-2023” is the first edition of the Ministerial Activation Programme for Foreigners, which is planned for the next three years. The objective of the programme is professional activation and social integration and activity of foreigners who stay legally in Poland and face difficulties in, inter alia, finding employment, language and integration barrier in society.

In the announced competition – under the first edition of the programme – local  government units, non-governmental organisations and labour market institutions can apply for co-financing for projects implemented in priority areas of the programme – professional activation and integration. The tasks may concern, inter alia, support for foreign job seekers planning to start up their business activity.

An additional advantage of offers submitted in the current edition of the Programme will be the inclusion of a group of foreigners who were evacuated to Poland last year as part of the government support of allies from Afghanistan or who found themselves in a particularly difficult situation in connection with evacuation from areas subject to hostilities in Ukraine – says the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.

Important dates

An entity applying for support may submit only one offer within one priority area and not more than two offers within one competition. However, a single offer may cover two priority areas, but it is advisable to specify a leading priority.

Offers, together with declarations and any necessary attachments, must be submitted by 21 March 2022, 16:00, via the Electronic Platform of Public Administration Services (ePUAP): /4g447ytes7/skrytka or http://epuap.gov.pl/wps/portal/strefa-klienta/katalog-spraw/opis-uslugi/pismo-ogolne-do-podmiotu-publicznego

The tasks should be completed by the end of 2023 at the latest. The Ministry will allocate up to PLN 40 million for the implementation of projects under the competition.
