Closer to nature

Holidays in Małopolska or Podkarpacie? On the border of these two voivodeships, there is the Magurski National Park. Holders of the Large Family Card do not have to pay an admission fee, thanks to which they can wander around the Park free of charge and become familiar with its natural, landscape and cultural values.

In addition, the Jan Szafrański Educational and Museum Centre of the Magurski National Park offers a favourable discount for holders of KDR. Such people pay PLN 1 for the entrance ticket to the main exhibition hall, which in relation to normal ticket prices (PLN 10 for a normal ticket, PLN 8 for a reduced ticket) is a significant difference. This makes it possible for all members of large families to make use of the educational values of this place without incurring full costs.

Some more nature

Are we relaxing in the Lubuskie Voivodeship?Holders of the Large Family Card may take an attractive visit to the Museum and Educational Centre of the Warta Mouth National Park. The centre is an excellent place to start visiting the Park. It will be interesting to both children and adults. The modern, interactive exhibition allows to discover the secrets of local nature, learn the history of the area and plan a visit in the field.

With the Large Family Card, we will buy a ticket to the Centre in Słońsk for PLN 5, but we will enter the observation tower in Chyrzyno free of charge.

Learn the history of...glass

Since we talked about Podkarpacie, we will talk about the Glass Heritage Centre in Krosno. It is a modern, interactive museum, which in a very attractive form shows its visitors the glass heritage of Krosno, the region and Poland.

Demonstrations of manual glass forming, glass decoration, workshops for tourists, and finally permanent and temporary exhibitions form the rich offer of this unique, not only on the scale of Poland, facility. Visitors can see all the stages of creating glass items at close range, and even experience the difficult art of working with glass (coin a glass medal, participate in the glass craft workshops).

In the store, you can buy various glass souvenirs, utility glassware, decorative glassware, jewellery, trinkets. Many items offered here were created in our workshops.

Holders of the Large Family Card receive a 15% discount on the ticket price.

Meeting of modernity and old craftsmanship

If we decided to go to Silesia, it is worth including the Museum of Old Crafts in the Old Mill in Żarki in the list of places to visit.

In the Old Mill in Żarki, old crafts meet modernity. The exhibition is devoted to milling, bakery, cooperage, wheelwrighting and shoemaking. It enables active visiting, during which we can check our skills not only as a miller. The story of craftsmen is intermingled with movies, activities, games and puzzles. Two visiting paths have been prepared for visitors – for children and for adults.

For holders of the Large Family Card, the admission fee to the permanent exhibition is included in the price of a family ticket regardless of the number of children (children below 18 or 25 if they study at school or at university).
