Termination with advance notification

This method of termination of the employment relationship is provided for:

  • when the establishment or a part of it has been transferred to another employer. An employee may terminate their employment contract with advance 7-day notification if they have been notified of the transfer of the establishment to another employer. Such a declaration of intent may be made within 2 months of the notification of the transfer of the establishment,
  • in the case of an employee reinstated to work who has taken up employment with another employer. That employee may then terminate their employment contract with that employer with advance 3-day notification within 7 days of reinstatement.
