The future of work in Europe
The panel debate attended by the Minister for Family, Labour and Social Policy Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk on Tuesday focused on the challenges concerning labour and work in Europe. Together with representatives of the Spanish and Lithuanian governments responsible for labour and social policies in their respective countries, she talked about the vision of the future of employment and work in Europe.
Competitiveness based on quality - this should be the key requirement for the entire European community when it comes to economic competition. We also need equality and cohesion. It is in the common interest of governments, employers, workers, trade unions, and citizens alike to ensure that the technological change we are currently facing is as evolutionary as possible and does not turn into a technological tsunami,
said Minister Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk during the debate.
Other participants were
Yolanda Díaz Pérez, Second Deputy Prime Minister of Spain, Minister of Labour and Social Economy;
Inga Ruginienė, Minister of Social Security and Labour of Lithuania.
