A message from Prime Minister Morawiecki

Minister Maląg read a letter from Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. The Prime Minister mentioned in it the figure of Father Popiełuszko, who had taught also about the ethos of work. Thanks to his firm attitude, until the sacrifice of his own life, we are free today. Right now, these efforts of the most difficult years are bearing fruit. Today, our homeland is really flourishing, and we, being free, make use of its development – wrote the Head of the Government.

In his letter, the Prime Minister expressed his conviction that despite differences, Poles are able to work honestly, take up the greatest challenges and plans that will make the wildest dreams of all Poles come true. “Solidarity” is a unity of hearts, minds and hands, deeply rooted in the ideas that are able to change the world for the better, as Father Jerzy said – wrote the Prime Minister, appealing for nurturing of this idea and thanking for fidelity to the ethos of “Solidarity”.

Flowers under the monuments

Minister Maląg and Deputy Minister Szwed attended the solemn Holy Mass at Jasna Góra. They also laid flowers at the Smoleńsk Epitaph, the monument of John Paul II and the monument of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński.
