Appointment of Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak as Minister for Funds and Regional Policy

At the request of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, President Andrzej Duda appointed on 27 November 2023 Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak as Minister of Funds and Regional Policy. Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak previously served as Deputy Minister of Funds and Regional Policy.

Appointment of Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak as Minister for Funds and Regional Policy

The swearing-in ceremony of the new government of Mateusz Morawiecki took place at the Presidential Palace on Monday.

From 29 October 2020 to 27 November 2023, Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak served as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy. From 26 October 2020, she also held the position of Government Plenipotentiary for the preparation of the World Urban Forum in Katowice in 2022.

She served as Deputy Secretary of State at the Ministry of Investment and Development from 29 November 2018 to 15 November 2019. She served as Minister of Funds and Regional Policy from 15 November 2019 to 6 October 2020.

Minister Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak has been involved in local government since the beginning of her career. She has been involved in EU funding, regional development and entrepreneurship issues for more than a dozen years. She worked in the Marshal’s Office of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, where she worked her way up through all levels: from inspector to head of the Department of Entrepreneurship Support.

Previously, Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak worked at the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Office as well as Tyczyn Municipality and Town Office. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Construction and Environmental Engineering at the Rzeszów University of Technology, where she obtained a master’s degree in municipal engineering. She also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management at the same university.

She speaks English. She can also converse in sign language.
