From the first payment request, our country will receive almost EUR 7 billion (over PLN 31 billion), including almost EUR 2.8 billion from the grant part and EUR 4.2 billion from the loan.

21.11.2023Poland will receive more than EUR 5 billion in advances from the NRPThe European Commission today issued a positive opinion on the revised Polish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NIP). It contains the additional EUR 23 billion in loans that Poland requested on 31 March and the additional EUR 2.76 billion in REPowerEU subsidies programmed in the revised NRP sent to the EC on August 31. The advances that Poland will soon receive amount to 20 per cent of this sum, or more than EUR 5 billion.

13.10.2023Poland will receive more than PLN 1.3 billion for the development of medium-sized towns and cities and scientific researchThe Deputy Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak, and the Swiss Ambassador to Poland, Fabrice Filliez, signed two agreements within the second edition of the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme. They will enable launching the Urban Development Programme and the Research and Innovation Programme. The first will contribute to strengthening the socio-economic development of medium-sized towns cities and the second to intensifying research cooperation between research centres and businesses in Poland and Switzerland.

The investment long-awaited by the region’s residents is getting closer to completion. The Minister for Funds and Regional Policy, Grzegorz Puda, participated on Thursday in the operation to finally pierce the last section in the tunnel being excavated in the massif of Barania Góra.
