16.02.2024The state of implementation of the NRRP and the plan and principles for repayment of the Recovery and Resilience Facility were the main topics discussed at the second meeting of the NRRP Monitoring Committee with the participation of the Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, and Deputy Minister Jan Szyszko. Representatives of other ministries, as well as local government officials and social and economic partners, non-governmental organisations and representatives of the academic community were also in attendance.

31.01.2024We support local governments in meeting accessibility requirements. The Accessible Local Government 2.0 programme is about to be launched. Public services, facilities and spaces at the disposal of LGUs will be made more user-friendly for those with special needs. 31.01.2024The voivodeships of Eastern Poland – Podkarpackie, Podlaskie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Świętokrzyskie and regions of Mazowieckie – will receive PLN 2 billion 379 million for the development of provincial roads from the European Funds for Eastern Poland (EFEP) programme. The purpose of the investment is to improve road connections in the region and better connect the macro-region with the rest of the country and with the European Union.

18.01.2024New places in nurseries, modernization of SMEs in agriculture, thermal modernization of housing, computers for schools - these are the investments for which disbursements from the NRP started today. More than PLN 332 million will go to beneficiaries.

12.01.2024Lublin's modern railway station is now open to the public. Deputy Minister of Funds and Regional Policy Jan Szyszko attended its opening ceremony today. The investment will connect 16 municipalities; it will be the region's transfer center; it will boost employment, including easy commuting for those in education - Lublin is a university city with 5,000 students from all over the world. The construction of the station was financed by European funds in the amount of over PLN 195 million, which constitutes nearly 2/3 of the total investment value, which amounted to approximately PLN 340 million.
