Poland will receive another PLN 26 billion from the NRP

30.10.2025

More than PLN 26 billion from the 4th and 5th NRP payment applications will be transferred to Poland in early December. We will allocate them, among others, for thermal modernisation of single- and multi-family buildings, new nursery places, high-speed internet access and Industry Skills Centres. We will also invest them in upgrading roads, building new power grids and innovative technologies.

26 billion PLN

The European Commission has issued a preliminary positive assessment concerning the fourth and fifth payment applications from the NRP. It has been forwarded to the Economic and Financial Committee, which has now four weeks to respond. The disbursement to Poland will take place following the positive opinion from the EFC.

Both applications add up to over PLN 26 billion (over EUR 6.2 billion). This money will be spent on, among others: power grids, nurseries, railways, geriatric and long-term care, cardiology and oncology hospitals, modern research infrastructure, thermal modernisation of residential buildings.

To date, Poland has received PLN 67 billion from three previous NRP payment applications. In April 2024, PLN 27 billion was received, and in December 2024 – a further PLN 40 billion. If another transfer of over PLN 26 billion is added to the two mentioned above, it would mean that by the end of 2025, we will receive a total of over PLN 93 billion from the NRP, to be gradually allocated to projects that will have a real impact on changing our country.
