We have already invested nearly PLN 121.5 billion from NRP

The Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, presented information on the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan in Poland at a meeting of the Council of Ministers.
To date, more than 774.8 thousand agreements have already been concluded with beneficiaries for the total amount of nearly PLN 121.5 billion, which accounts for 46.4 per cent of the entire NRP allocation for Poland. In the grant part, the agreements amount to PLN 67 billion 180.9 million (60.1 per cent of the allocation), and in the loan part - to PLN 54 billion 310.6 million (36.2 per cent of the allocation).
Effects of the NRP implementation in Poland to date
- Thermal modernisation of multi-family buildings carried out in 173,010 dwellings in multi-family buildings and in 274,654 single-family houses.
- Low and zero-emission buses - agreements have been signed for the supply of 334 vehicles.
- Laptops for teachers - 341,271 computer vouchers issued.
- Crèches and children's clubs - 7,505 new places in crèches and children's clubs have already been created. The target is to create 47.5 thousand places for the youngest.
- Number of households that received broadband internet access - 57,170.
- Industry Skill Centres developing skills needed in the modern labour market - agreements for 115 centres have been signed, including 33 already in operation. The target is to build 120 establishments. Consequently, 24 thousand people will gain new professional qualifications.
- Construction of 19 km of bypasses has been completed. The total of 90 km of new roads will be built.
- 247 dangerous spots on roads have been eliminated, with a target of 305.
Since the beginning of 2024, the following investments have received the highest payments (from the grant part):
- Clean Air received over PLN 6.6 billion;
- Investments to diversify and shorten the supply chain of agricultural and food products and build the resilience of actors in the chain - payments for over PLN 1.8 million;
- Passenger rolling stock - payments of nearly PLN 1.4 million.
- Railways - almost PLN 1.2 billion. The aim of the investment is to improve the condition of the railway infrastructure to make it more reliable and to improve the operation of rail traffic, with a particular focus on lines with a significant share of freight transport.
- Investment in transport safety - over PLN 724 million. The aim of the investment is to increase road transport safety through the construction and modernisation of bypasses on national roads.
What we are planning
Still in July, we will conduct the fourth revision of the NRP. In September, Poland will receive PLN 26.3 billion from the fourth and fifth request for payment from the NRP. We have scheduled the fifth revision of the NRP and the submission of two further requests for payment for autumn 2025. We would like to submit the eighth request for payment in April/May 2026 and the ninth payment request for payment from the NRP in September.
