What is the National Development Concept 2050
08.07.2021
The National Development Concept 2050 (NDC 2050) is a visionary document which will guide the management of Poland's development. The concept is to become a document combining socio-economic and spatial planning. Most development processes that directly or indirectly shape our living environment take place in space. Different areas of Poland need a different perspective and their own development paths. Our objective is to preserve the diversity of all areas while strengthening territorial cohesion and sustainable use of natural resources.
Objectives of the National Development Concept 2050
We live in dynamic times that require constant adaptation of actions to changing realities. Preserving our planet for future generations is the most important contemporary challenge for strategic planning. The process of preparing a vision of Poland's development until 2050 - the National Development Concept (NDC 2050) - will be our response to this challenge.
The National Development Concept 2050 is a long-term visionary document which will:
- identify key global and national trends shaping the future in the social, economic, environmental and spatial spheres,
- indicate a set of the most important development challenges that Poland faces and will face
- formulate possible development scenarios,
- recommend strategic choices in public policies in the 2050 perspective.
Help us create the National Development Concept 2050
NDC 2050 is to become a specific path of strategic choices concerning the further path of the country's development.
It is also supposed to reflect the current expert knowledge and expectations of the inhabitants of Poland, especially young people. That is why we want to involve as many people as possible in our work. Every opinion is important to us.
