Another meeting of the IGF 2021 Programme Committee is behind us
Broad involvement of young people in the discussion on the future of the Internet dominated the meeting of the IGF 2021 Programme Committee. We will organise workshops, webinars and a Game Jam.
One of the events planned for the months preceding the Internet Governance Forum is a series of webinars for young people from all over the world, entitled “Tell us what you think about…”.
“It will be an excellent opportunity to listen to the voices of young people and at the same time invite them to come to Poland and get engaged in active discussion on the future of the Internet,” said the participants of the meeting.
And during the IGF 2021 itself, there are workshops planned, dedicated to young people from Poland, with which we will discuss safety in the web.
The accompanying events of IGF 2021 will also include an offer addressed to coders and enthusiasts of game development. This area will be taken care of by GovTechPolska.
The permanent IGF 2021 Programme Committee is composed of the representatives of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Office of Electronic Communications, NASK National Research Institute, Centrum Cyfrowe foundation and Kosciuszko Institute, as well as the scientific and legal communities dealing with the digital issues on a daily basis.
Internet United in Poland
Between 6 and 10 December 2021, several thousand visitors from all over the world will visit the International Congress Centre in Katowice.
The Internet Governance Forum will be a place of open and real debate on topics including, for example, the future of online platforms. The motto of this year's conference is Internet United.
