Polish Deputy Ministers in New Delhi to Advance Defence Cooperation

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Wladysław Teofil Bartoszewski and Deputy Minister of State Assets Konrad Golota visited New Delhi from 27 to 28 August, underscoring the growing momentum in high-level Poland-India relations.

Polish and Indian delegations hold talks at a conference table at India’s Department of Defence Production.

During the visit, the Deputy Ministers held high-level meetings with officials from the National Security Council Secretariat and the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The discussions focused on opportunities to further deepen bilateral cooperation.

The meetings were followed by substantive interactions with the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA) and the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM), providing an opportunity to exchange views on the evolving security environment.

Deputy Minister Bartoszewski also interacted with Indian media, sharing his views on the scope and potential of further Poland India cooperation in the field of defence. The visit marks another significant milestone in the expanding high-level engagement between Poland and India, reaffirming both sides' commitment to strengthening bilateral and defence cooperation.
