On October 1, 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi hosted the third edition of the Shantipath Debates, an informal discussion series designed to foster dialogue on key global and regional issues. 

This special edition, which marked the beginning of Poland’s term in the EU Gender Champion initiative was titled “Tokenism or Transformation? Rethinking Feminist Foreign Policy” and brought together distinguished speakers and experts to explore the evolving intersection of gender and foreign policy. 

Opening remarks were given by Vrinda Grover, Advocate at the Supreme Court of India and renowned women’s rights and human rights lawyer, who shared her perspective on how feminist foreign policy can challenge institutional barriers and drive real change and Rama Lakshmi, Editor of Opinions & Ground Sections at The Print and former journalist at Washington Post, who highlighted the limitations of gender-based rhetoric in foreign policy, stressing the need for genuine transformation at both the policy and institutional levels. The event was moderated by Dr. Swasti Rao, Geopolitical Analyst and Professor at O.P. Jindal Global University.
