Poland in India

On September 25th, the Polish Embassy in New Delhi held a one-of-a-kind networking event for young diplomats at Residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland. The evening brought together nearly 70 early and mid-career professionals from 25 Embassies, offering a valuable platform to build meaningful connections, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for future collaboration among the next generation of diplomats.

Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the Republic of Poland in India, Dr. Piotr Świtalski, opened the evening by emphasizing the importance of providing young diplomats with a platform to make acquaintances and build their professional networks — a crucial step in fostering cooperation and preserving the noble profession of diplomacy. 

To encourage interaction and fun, attendees participated in networking games, including a lively round of diplomatic bingo, which sparked conversations and laughter throughout the evening. Guests also enjoyed a taste of Poland with traditional dishes served during the reception, including pierogi and Polish donuts. The event concluded with a reception, allowing participants to continue conversations in a relaxed setting, further cementing friendships and professional bonds across borders.

This initiative reflects the Polish Embassy’s ongoing commitment to cultivating a vibrant diplomatic community here in India.
