Poland in Kenya

On May 28, 2024, the ceremonial opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Kampala, headed by Honorary Consul Prof. Ephraim Kamuntu, took place.

On the occasion of Europe Day 2024, the Delegation of the European Union in Nairobi, in cooperation with the embassies of the Member States, organized a U-18 football tournament for boys and girls.

We kindly inform you that on Thursady, May 30, 2024 the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi and its Consular Section will be closed due to public holidays observed in Poland (Corpus Christi).

On May 13-15, a joint mission to Kenya of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland took place, as part of a project financed by Poland.

On May 3, 2024, a piano concert and reception to celebrate the May Third National Day took place in the Music Hall at Brookhouse School.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi, in cooperation with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) and the Polish-Kenya Chamber of Commerce, organized an economic mission of Polish IT companies to the international conference "Connected Africa Summit 2024" on April 22-25, 2024.

We kindly inform you that on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 and Friday, May 3, 2024, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi and its Consular Section will be closed.

The Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) intends to again award the "Ambassador of Polish History" award, which aims to honor people and organizations from outside Poland who have made particular contributions to commemorating the history of the Polish Nation.

We kindly inform you that on Friday, March 29, 2024 (Good Friday), and Monday, April 1, 2024 (Easter Monday), the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi and its Consular Section will be closed.

On March 11-13, the EU Ambassador to Kenya, Ms. Henriette Geiger, together with the Ambassadors of Austria, Dr. Christian Fellner, Germany, Mr. Sebastian Groth, France, Mr. Arnaud Suquet, Sweden, Ms. Caroline Vicini, and Poland, Mr. Mirosław Gojdź, took part in a joint visit to the counties of Homa Bay and Migori, to consult with county government leaders, business and industry representatives, academics and researchers, as part of strengthening the relationship between the European Union and its Member States with regions in Kenya.
