The Polish flag is with us at all important moments. During solemn and solemn events, but also on days of mourning for the loss of outstanding and courageous Poles, in moments of emotion and joy.

Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad Day, established in 2002 by a Senate resolution, serves to highlight "the centuries-long achievements and contribution of the Polish diaspora and Poles abroad in Poland regaining its independence, its loyalty and attachment to its Polish identity, and its assistance to the country in its most difficult moments, in order to reaffirm the bond with the Motherland and the unity of all Poles, both those living in the country and those abroad." The holiday aims to strengthen the sense of unity among all Poles and help preserve national awareness.
