Poland in Malta

On May 11th, a meeting was held at Police Headquarters in Valletta between representatives of the Embassies accredited to Malta and the Police Victim Support/Support Response Team.

On May 6, a reception to mark 3 May Constitution Day was held at the Casino Maltese in Valletta, with the President of the Republic of Malta, Miriam Spiteri Debono, as the guest of honour.

This year, we celebrate the 235th anniversary of the adoption of the May 3rd Constitution. Adopted in 1791, it was the first written constitution in Europe and the second in the world, after the United States Constitution, regulating the functioning of the state and defining the rights and obligations of citizens.

Polish Flag Day is celebrated on May 2nd. Every year on this day, Poles proudly display their flags outdoors. On May 2nd we also celebrate the Day of the Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad.

Polish-French Friendship Day 2026

During World War II, in the heart of neutral Europe-Bern, Switzerland-a remarkable group of individuals used diplomacy as a tool to save lives. The Ładoś Group, made up of Polish diplomats and Jewish activists, carried out a secret passport operation that helped thousands of Jews escape the Holocaust.

Yesterday marked the official opening of the thematic pavilion "Redefining. Polish-Ghanaian Textile Narratives” at the Malta Biennale, curated by Natalia Bradbury.

The Polish Pavilion at Malta Biennale 2026 has officially opened, presenting the exceptional project "Archive of Hesitations” by Weronika Zalewska, curated by Ada Piekarska.
