Magdalena Krucz appointed new president of the Polish Tourism Organisation

Magdalena Krucz was appointed president of the Polish Tourism Organisation on 2 December 2025, at a session of the Senate Committee on National Economy and Innovation. The nomination letter was presented to her by Jakub Rutnicki, Minister of Sport and Tourism and Ireneusz Raś, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.

Magdalena Krucz has been connected with the tourism industry since the beginning of her professional career, which she started at a travel agency specialising in inbound tourism.

She joined the Polish Tourism Organisation in 2004. Since then, she has been responsible e.g. for conducting promotion campaigns, including projects such as “Poland – official partner country of ITB Berlin 2011”, a campaign entitled „Poland. More than you expected” that featured top Polish athletes, a programme of rebuilding demand for Polish tourism services on foreign markets, Polish tourism and sport days during the EXPO exhibition in Osaka, “Buy Poland” workshops for foreign travel agencies, and the “Tourism of the Future” congress held at the end of September this year in Kołobrzeg. 

She also promoted Poland internationally by coordinating promotion activities of the Polish Tourism Organisation’s branch offices abroad. 

Before taking up the position of President of the Polish Tourism Organisation she held the role of Director of the Planning and Development Department and was responsible for planning promotion activities in Poland and abroad. 

She is a graduate of the University of Economics where she majored in Tourism Economy.
