Poland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia condemn the efforts of the International Olympic Committee to bring back the athletes of the aggressor countries, Russia and Belarus, into international competitions. A joint position on the issue has been taken by Minister of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Poland Kamil Bortniczuk; Minister of Culture of the Republic of Estonia Piret Hartman; Minister of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania Jurgita Šiugždinienė and Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia Anda Čakša.

A discussion about programmes supporting Polish tourism and plans for the future took place during the meeting of Vice-Minister Andrzej Gut-Mostowy and President of the Polish Tourism Organisation Rafał Szmytke with tourism journalists. The meeting summarised actions taken in 2022 for tourism.

844 medals won by Polish national team members, numerous sporting successes of the White and Reds at international arenas, major sporting events taken over from Russia, record budgets for top-level and grassroots sports as well as sports infrastructure, and a number of new initiatives.
