Bilateral cooperation

Bilateral cooperation of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration relates to bilateral contacts with European and non-European partners and its main aim is to increase internal security. It is compliant with the main lines of action and priorities of the Polish foreign policy, determined by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Bilateral cooperation implements objectives resulting from the European policy of the Republic of Poland, constituting an instrument for influencing the positions of individual Member States.

Bilateral contacts are determined by geographical considerations and the areas of bilateral cooperation are defined based on regional conditions and the situation in Europe, as well as global trends.
