Letter from deputy minister Bartosz Grodecki to the Minister-President of Brandenburg

On Wednesday (December 23), Bartosz Grodecki, undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Coordinator of Polish-German cross-border and regional cooperation, handed over to Dietmar Woidke, the Minister-President of Brandenburg, Coordinator of the German side, the offer of help which was already submitted by the Polish government to the German partner.

In the face of the difficult epidemic situation in our western neighbours, the Polish government - as part of neighbourly solidarity - offered the possibility of curing German patients suffering from Covid-19 in Polish hospitals. Polish offer also includes the chance of providing the German side with the necessary medical equipment assistance in the form of respirators. - The challenges related to the spread of the coronavirus are a global problem, hence there is a huge importance of cooperation, solidarity and neighbourly help in the difficult times we are currently facing - the deputy minister  Bartosz Grodecki wrote in the letter.
