The second part of Monday's visit included a meeting of Minister Mariusz Kamiński with Tom Tugendhat, Minister of State for Security of the United Kingdom, which concerned issues pertaining to maintaining global security, combating state threats, as well as support for democratic groups in Belarus. This was the second meeting of the two ministers and a follow-up to the visit to the Ministry of the Interior and Administration in Warsaw, which took place earlier this year, on February 2nd.

During his visit to London, Minister Mariusz Kamiński also attended a meeting with the leadership of the British Security Service – the MI5 – in his capacity as Special Services Coordinator.

The cooperation between Poland and the United Kingdom in the area of security is vital for Europe, and representatives of both countries unanimously declared their intention to pursue it further.
