On 21 October, Minister of the Interior and Administration Tomasz Siemoniak met with his Ukrainian counterpart, Ihor Klymenko, in Kraków. The Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs outlined the situation on the front and presented the actions of the Ukrainian government. The ministers talked about the Polish-Ukrainian partnership in the area of internal affairs, with particular focus on the cooperation of both countries’ police forces and border protection services. 

Both parties expressed their willingness to pursue broader cooperation in the area of law enforcement.

Minister Tomasz Siemoniak also outlined the priorities of the Polish Presidency of the European Union.
