Today, we had the opportunity to jointly approve an agreement between the European Airbus company, its French branch, and the Armament Agency on equipping the Polish Armed Forces with two reconnaissance satellites. This is an extremely imperative capacity and an opportunity to complement everything that comes with deterrence and early warning capabilities. Both in the military and civilian dimension” - noted Deputy Prime Minister Mariusz Błaszczak after the meeting with Sébastien Lecornu, the head of the French Ministry of Defence.

23.12.2022We build security on strong pillars- In July last year, we informed the public about the decision we had taken. The decision to purchase and equip the Polish land forces with 250 state-of-the-art Abrams tanks. In August this year, here at the training ground in Biedrusko, in the Land Forces Training Center, the "Abrams Academy" began its activity. Exercises have begun. Training of Polish crews and military technicians to operate these tanks, which are the most modern in the world, has begun. Next year, the Polish Army will receive the first used Abrams tanks. Ultimately, the Polish land forces will have 366 Abrams tanks at their disposal, including 250 tanks of the latest generation - said the head of the Ministry of National Defense during the meeting with Polish soldiers.

The Russian aggression against Ukraine confirmed how significant it is for the Polish Armed Forces to be strong. How important it is to be equipped with modern and effective weapons. The idea is to deter the aggressor and cause a state in which he will not dare to attack Poland. And he will not dare to do so when the Polish Armed Forces are strong. We efficiently strengthen the Polish Armed Forces, as evidenced by these 24 K9 gun-howitzers imported from South Korea, which now are in the brigade’s equipment" said Deputy Prime Minister Mariusz Błaszczak during the handover of the first K9 gun-howitzers to the Polish Armed Forces.

09.12.2022The first K2 tanks handed over to the soldiers of the Polish Armed Forces“Things have accelerated. On August 26, I approved the contract to purchase K2 tanks for the Polish Armed Forces' equipment. Today, the first examples of these tanks, which arrived in the port of Gdynia a few days ago, are here in the earmarked military unit, in the 20th Mechanized Brigade - a brigade which thanks to the delivery of the K2 tank battalion to Morąg grows.
