11.11.2024Celebrating the 106th anniversary of Poland's independenceOn 11 November, central celebrations of the National Independence Day were held in Warsaw with the participation of President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, as well as the highest state authorities and the Polish Army. The celebrations were attended by Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence, representing the President of the Council of Ministers.

07.11.2024Poland and the Czech Republic together to strengthen security in the region- Our relations, the relations between Poland and the Czech Republic are very friendly, very good, very effective. Our countries are allies in both NATO and the European Union. However, our primary relationship is that of friends and neighbours. I am very grateful for this. The Minister will be present at our base in Łask today, where preparations are underway for the arrival of the F-35. Poland and the Czech Republic purchase the F-35 aircraft, with deliveries scheduled to commence in due course. These matters have already been discussed in an advanced manner, and our own experience and the skills acquired by our pilots are being shared. It is very significant that the exchange of expertise, data and technology is occurring between our nations - stated Deputy Prime Minister W. Kosiniak Kamysz following a meeting with the Czech Minister of Defence.

18.10.2024Security of NATO’s Eastern Flank is a priority for the Member StatesThe main subjects of the meeting held between the Ministers of Defence of the allied states constituted matters relating to deterrence and security, preparation of plans, new plans, fulfilment of the obligations arising out of the NATO summit in Washington. For us, one of the most important issues is the one that I have just addressed concerning the airspace violation. Another incident occurred yesterday in Romania. An allied answer, allied proceedings relating to this matter are needed. The issue of cooperation with Ukraine – this was yesterday evening. President Zelensky and Minister Umerov appeared at the working dinner. We talked about the methods of supporting Ukraine effectively and about equipment deliveries. NATO has taken over the bigger role in coordination, also of the full logistics services - Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said in Brussels.

The delegation was also accompanied by Ambassador of South Korea Hoonmin Lim and President/CEO of Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) Gooyoung Kang.

01.10.2024Poland and the United States have reached an agreement on a direct loan for the Foreign Military Financing programme, for the amount of 3,08 bln USDThis is the third loan given to Poland by the US government. The previous agreement was signed on July 1st of this year. The total amount of all US direct loans to Poland is 7,08 bln USD. We are the largest beneficiary of this mechanism in recent years.

Kosiniak – Kamysz visited the Pentagon- I have discussed today at the Pentagon with the Secretary of Defence, Lloyd Austin the strategic partnership of Poland and the US. It is critically important in that moment of the modernization of the Polish Armed Forces when it is being supplied with the most modern US-made equipment, like the F-35 fighter planes, ABRAMS tanks and the APACHE helicopters – the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak – Kamysz said after the conclusion of the meeting at the Pentagon.

28.08.2024The first Polish F-35 fighter unveiled„The unveiling of the first Polish F-35 fighter plane is another milestone in the transformation of the Polish Armed Forces. Modern, excellently equipped, trained and led troops that together with our allies will ensure the safety of our Homeland. I have no doubt that this event happens in a key moment, as the global security situation shifts drastically ever since the Russian agression on Ukraine. We all have to be ready to defend the borders of NATO” – deputy minister Paweł Bejda said during the visit in Fort Worth.

24.07.2024Strengthening strategic cooperation of Poland and Great Britain- I am thankful for this very good meeting, very good Polish-British relations. For us this i san expression of extraordinary trust, friendship and cooperation. Today the minister was in Paris in the morning, in Berlin at noon and finishes in Warsaw. This shows how important a partner Poland is for Great Britain. This shows how important security and our cooperation are. Our friendship has never been as strong as it is in this moment. I am grateful for this approach to the Polish-British cooperation. The new government emerging after elections in Great Britain unequivocally stated its priorities – deputy prime minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said aftr the meeting with the defence secretary of Great Britain.
