Полска во Северна Македонија

На 10 април 2010 година специјалниот авион ТУ-154М со Претседателот на Република Полска Лех Качињски и Сопругата на Претседателот на РП Марија Качињска полетал од Варшава за Смолењск. Тој ден, на Полските воени гробишта во Катињ, државната делегација требало да учествува на комеморацијата по повод 70-годишнината од Катињскиот масакар. Во авионот имало 96 лица, меѓу нив биле и претставници на највисоките државни власти, претставници на општествени кругови и црквите, армиски команданти и екипажот на авионот. Сите тие загинале во авионската несреќа која се случила за време на слетувањето на аеродромот кај Смолењск.

We, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Lithuania and Poland as well as the Estonian Undersecretary for European Affairs, having paid a joint visit to North Macedonia and Albania on 3-5 March 2020, express our determined and unequivocal support for the European aspirations of the Western Balkan states and the firm, merit-based prospect of their full European Union membership.

Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Jacek Czaputowicz, together with his counterparts of Lithuania – Linas Linkevičius and Latvia – Edgars Rinkēvičs, as well as Estonia’s MFA Undersecretary Märt Volmer, paid a joint visit to Skopje.

The Stefan Banach Scholarship Programme aims to support the socio-economic growth of developing countries by improving the knowledge and education of the citizens of Eastern Partnership, Central Asian and Western Balkan countries. It is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), implemented as part of the Polish development assistance programme. The Programme’s patron is Stefan Banach – an eminent Polish mathematician, the co-founder of the Lviv School of Mathematics and the branch of mathematics known as functional analysis.

On 3-5 March 2020 Foreign Affairs Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will pay a visit to North Macedonia and Albania. At the invitation of Polish chief of diplomacy, Foreign Minister of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius and of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs as well as deputy minister of Estonia Märt Volmer will join the visit.
