Minister, Member of the Council of Ministers, previously the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice responsible for international family proceedings, including in particular tasks carried out by the Central Authority in the field of cross-border child abduction, parental responsibility and maintenance.

Acting in the best interests of children, he represented the Polish central authority in the international arena by making numerous visits abroad, personally supporting all initiatives aimed at preserving the cultural, religious and linguistic identity of children in custody proceedings, as reflected in the introduction of an amendment to the Brussels II BIS Regulation, as requested by the Ministry of Justice, taking many active measures from December 2017 onwards. 

He initiated legislative measures resulting in the entry into force of the Act on the performance of specific activities of the central authority in family matters in the field of legal transactions under European Union law and international agreements.

He often intervenes at the highest level, working with representatives of government institutions from around the world. 
He is continuously involved in measures for the legal protection of children.
