This captivating story of the first and only Cichociemna also gives an insight into pivotal moments in Polish history, such as but not limited to the Warsaw Uprising. “Agent Zo: The Untold Story of Fearless WW2 Resistance Fighter Elzbieta Zawacka” chronicles her daring missions, struggles, and triumphs, painting a vivid picture of a woman who defied societal expectations and made a significant impact in a male-dominated field.

Clare Mulley is a historian and writer who focuses on women's experiences during the Second World War. She previously shed light on Krystyna Skarbek, another Polish woman who made a mark among special forces. Skarbek, aka Christine Granville, was Churchill’s favourite spy and Britain’s first—and longest-serving—female agent during WW2.
