On Thursday, 2 February 2023, "Entangled Histories: Poles and Ukrainians across the Ages", a joint lecture by Professor Robert Frost and Dr Stanley Bill organised by the Polish Studies Foundation in cooperation with the Polish Embassy, took place at 47 Portland Place.

Entangled Histories - Poles and Ukrainians across the Ages

Professor Frost and Dr Bill explored the relations between Poles and Ukrainians from the Union of Lublin to Poland’s present-day solidarity with Ukraine in the face of Russia’s war.

Among those attending were Ambassador of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko, Ambassador of Germany Miguel Berger, the Earl of St Andrews, experts and members of the Polish diaspora. Ambassador Piotr Wilczek opened the event.
