Polish National Day celebrations at the Embassy: Ambassador Piotr Wilczek thanked Poles in the UK for their commitment to promoting Polish culture and history and highlighted the importance of 11th November for national identity.

The official part was followed by the Amen AdoraMus choir’s performance of patriotic songs.

Remarkable contributions of Polish and foreign citizens were recognised with the following awards:

🎖️ the Cross of Freedom and Solidarity for Anna Barbara Shawcross;

🎖️ the Cross of Merit for Mark Ponting;

🎖️ the Pro Bono Poloniae medal for Michał Olizar;

🎖️ the Bene Merito honorary badges for Jacek Ambroży and Stephen Dominic Ellery.
