If you need documents translated, we encourage you to first consider using the services of a sworn translator entered on the list maintained by the Polish Ministry of Justice. A list of Polish sworn translators in the United States is provided below.

The consul provides official translations and also certifies translations. If you submit a translation prepared by an external translator who is not a sworn translator, including a translator from a local list, an additional consular fee of USD 36 will be charged for the consul’s certification of that translation.

Please note that you may seek the consul’s assistance if you need specific documents translated. A list of Polish sworn translators entered on the list maintained by the Ministry of Justice is available on the Ministry of Justice website.
