– On an extremely important day, just after the European Commission adopted the trade agreement with the South American bloc Mercosur, we had a constructive conversation with EU Agriculture Commissioner Christophe Hansen, during which I once again referred to our concerns about the results of the negotiations with Mercosur in the area of agriculture – said Minister of Agriculture Stefan Krajewski after the meeting in Brussels.

Also today, details of advance payments towards area payments for 2025 and topics related to the CAP financing model post-2027 were discussed. Details of today’s talks in Brussels and the decision of Minister Stefan Krajewski on the future of Agricultural Production Centres (OPR) will be provided tomorrow, i.e. Friday, 5 September, at a special media briefing at 9:00 at the seat of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (room 47).
