Polish companies at the Summer Fancy Food Show fair in New York
29.06.2026
Polish companies have started their participation in the 70th edition of the Summer Fancy Food Show fair in New York - one of the most important events of the food industry in North America. Minister Stefan Krajewski opened the Polish national stand organised by the Ministry and met with representatives of Polish companies and business partners.
– Polish food is appreciated all over the world and supporting our entrepreneurs on foreign markets is one of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development’s priorities. The record-breaking export of food shows that Polish products compete effectively in terms of their quality, taste and innovation. I wish all exhibitors many good talks and long-term contracts with partners from the United States – said the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Stefan Krajewski during the opening of the Polish stand.
Polish food on the American market
The United States is one of the most important customers of Polish food outside the European Union. In 2025, it was ranked third among non-EU countries in terms of the import value of Polish agri-food products.
Last year, the export to the American market reached the value of EUR 838.5 million, i.e. by 6% more than the year before. The increase in sales confirms the growing interest in Polish food and its increasingly strong position on the American market.
In 2025, the total value of Polish agri-food export amounted to EUR 58 billion. Agri-food products account for about 16% of the total Polish export.
24 companies at the Polish stand
The Ministry prepared the national stand with an area of about 150 m2. 24 Polish companies present their offer there.
Among others, the exhibitors include the producers of dairy products, fish and fish products, pasta, sweets, cereal products, fruit and vegetable products, honey and bee products, herbs and spices as well as organic food.
During the fair, Polish companies conduct trade talks with importers and distributors from North America and present an offer prepared with foreign customers in mind.
Promotion of Polish products
After the opening of the stand, Minister Stefan Krajewski met with representatives of Polish companies participating in the fair and visited exhibitions of exhibitors. He also participated in the promotion of Polish organic products and talked with representatives of the Foreign Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in New York about the possibilities of further development of exporting Polish food to the American market.
