– The resumption of the possibility of exporting Polish apples to Kazakhstan from January 2025 was a good example of a constructive dialogue between our countries. I hope that real cooperation will allow to clarify any problematic issues – emphasised Deputy Minister Czerniak.
The Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer Paweł Meyer highlighted the interest of Polish entrepreneurs in the Kazakhstan’s market and presented Polish commercial demands:
- lifting the ban on the import and transit of poultry and poultry products in connection with the outbreak of Newcastle disease in Poland;
- lifting the ban on the import of poultry and poultry products in connection with the outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza in Poland and recognising the principles of regionalisation;
- lifting the restrictions introduced by Kazakhstan in connection with the occurrence of bluetongue in Poland;
- lifting the import restrictions on pork and pork products in connection with the outbreak of African swine fever in Poland and recognising the principles of regionalisation;
