Polish-Saudi Investment Forum

- Today's event is another step towards strengthening Polish-Saudi ties. I am convinced that it will bring tangible results in the form of new contracts, investments and joint projects - said Secretary of State Jacek Czerniak during the opening ceremony of the Polish-Saudi Investment Forum.

The event was also attended by representatives of the Polish and Saudi administration and the business sector, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology Michał Baranowski, President of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency Andrzej Dycha, as well as Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Robert Rostek. A numerous Saudi delegation was chaired by the Minister of Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, accompanied by the new Ambassador of the KSA to Poland H.E. Enass Ahmad Alshahwan.

– The Forum is a unique opportunity to establish direct contacts with representatives of state administration and leading companies from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is also an opportunity to attract investors for key investment projects in Poland and an opportunity to support the foreign expansion of Polish enterprises – stressed Deputy Minister Czerniak.

Prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture

The Secretary of State stressed that Polish-Saudi economic relations were based on mutual respect and open dialogue.

– Agriculture and food industry are areas in which our economies may complement each other perfectly – said Deputy Minister Czerniak.

He also reminded that Poland was an important producer and exporter of agri-food products in the European Union and worldwide. In addition, the Secretary of State expressed hope for the development of bilateral cooperation with the KSA in the area of agriculture, including increasing the Polish export of agri-food products to the Saudi market. He also confirmed the interest of the Polish Ministry of Agriculture in strengthening relations in the scientific and research area and in the horse breeding sector, in which Poland and Saudi Arabia had been successfully cooperating for many years.

Results of the Polish agri-food export to the KSA

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the most important customers of Polish agri-food products in the Middle East region. In the first half of 2025, the agri-food export to the KSA reached the value of EUR 125 million. We exported mainly: sugar syrups, cheese, bakery products, biscuits, wafers, confectionery products.
