Promoting the image of Poland, strengthening economic and business relations between Poland and Japan and the Asian market, as well as promoting Polish food during the Podlasie Week in the Poland Pavilion, are the main goals of the visit paid by the Secretary of State Stefan Krajewski to the World Expo 2025 in Osaka. The Deputy Minister also attended the official opening of the Poland Pavilion.

Secretary of State Stefan Krajewski stressed that Polish entrepreneurs in the agri-food industry were showing the increasing interest in the Japanese market.

– Every year, the number of entrepreneurs present at the agri-food fair in Japan is growing. Representatives of the agri-food industry are more and more interested in attending promotional events during the Expo. This refers not only to the Podlasie week which has just started, but also to the Export Forum scheduled for 20 May 2025. I am glad to say that the exhibition creates numerous opportunities to exhibit Polish food, e.g., during the Forum in the Polish Flavours Zone – said Deputy Minister Stefan Krajewski.

Participation of Poland in the Expo 2025 in Osaka

The World Exhibition EXPO 2025 in Osaka lasts from 13 April to 13 October 2025. The objective of the participation in the exhibition is to promote the image of Poland and strengthen economic and business relations between Poland and Japan and the Asian market. As part of the extensive economic programme, the organisation of many events has been planned to be focused on:

•            promoting Polish export products;

•            business missions;

•            participation of Polish entrepreneurs in trade fairs;

•            organisation of B2B meetings.

The agri-food sector, in view of its high export potential to Asian markets, is a priority in trade relations with Japan.
