Poland in Albania

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana implemented a project to support the day care center for children run by the Missionaries of Charity (Sisters of Mother Teresa of Calcutta) in Elbasan.

Two Polish movies received main awards at the "Tirana European Youth Film Festival".

In the framework of the "Tirana European Youth Film Festival", the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana kindly invites to the screenings of Polish movies.

Accompanied by the Chairman of the Polish-Balkan Parliamentary Group, Polish MP Tomasz Głogowski, Albanian Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha and the head of the UNDP mission in Albania, Monica Merino, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland Monika Zuchniak-Pazdan on 7 August officially opened a fire station in Fier. Construction of the station and provision of specialised rescue equipment was made possible thanks to the support of the Polish government.

As part of the Embassy's development cooperation project, devices supporting water rescue operations were installed on popular beaches of Golem.

The Consul of the Republic of Poland in Tirana kindly informs that as of June 1, 2024, there is a change in the fee for accepting and processing an application for a national visa (type D) and for accepting and processing an application for reconsideration of a national visa.
