The 'Energy for the Recovery of Ukraine' conference was attended by representatives of the European Commission, energy ministers of the EU Member States, as well as entrepreneurs from Ukraine and other countries. The conference aimed to discuss issues related to the reconstruction of Ukraine's energy infrastructure, energy security, green energy development and plans for the development of Ukraine's energy sector.

Deputy Minister Adam Guibourgé-Czetwertyński participated in a panel discussion on 'Political Dialogue. Rebuilding Resilience.' The panel discussion focused on the integration of the Ukrainian energy market into the EU, the implementation of the EU energy acquis, and Ukraine's role in enhancing Europe's resilience and energy security.

Ukraine's energy infrastructure is often the target of Russian airstrikes, and we have seen the systematic use of the energy sector as a tool of pressure on Europe for a long time. Ukraine's energy sector will require reconstruction and a new approach. Poland declares its partnership in this process of building a modern, efficient, low-carbon energy sector integrated into European energy markets. Such an energy sector could form the country's basis for economic development

- pointed out the Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment.

During his speech, Deputy Minister Czetwertyński also referred to the issue of Ukraine's accession to the European Union, which is of great geopolitical importance. It can stabilise Central and Eastern Europe and thus enable its dynamic development. It can, therefore, bring many benefits to both Ukraine and the rest of Europe, especially Central and Eastern Europe.

As part of the ReBuild Ukraine event, Deputy Minister Adam Guibourgé-Czetwertyński also attended a meeting of the co-chairs of Working Group 3 'Energy Security' of the Peace Formula - an initiative of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The group is co-chaired by the energy ministers of Ukraine, Poland, Denmark, and Norway.
