The leitmotiv of the meeting was the upcoming COP26 Summit. The discussions were structured around its two aspects – Article 6 that lays down the ambitious tasks of the climate agenda declared by the signatories of the Paris Agreement and the financial issues that will be examined in details during the UN Climate Summit in Edinburg in November.

"We believe that implementation of the ambitious climate policy with simultaneous safeguarding of the social issues is possible, yet requires adequate financial mechanisms, which will ensure both the investment support and compensation for the potential negative effects of the implemented measures” – said Vice-Minister Guibourgé-Czetwertyński.
