The subject of the talks included the energy transition and Polish-Canadian and Polish-British bilateral cooperation.

We are striving for achieving the goal i.e. the diversified, low-emission energy mix. At the same time, we want to maintain the security and stability of the energy system

– said Minister Anna Moskwa at the meeting.

The energy transition should be carried out in a responsible, rational and effective manner, while taking into account the principle of solidarity

– she added.

It is worth mentioning that so far the Ministry of Climate and Environment has not conducted bilateral cooperation with Canada in the areas of energy, climate and the environment. On the other hand, Polish-British bilateral cooperation with regard to the energy transition and striving for climate neutrality is validated in the Deliverables agreed by Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in June 2020.
