The meeting consisted of two panels, the subjects of which were the exchange of opinions and experience related to the construction of a European ecosystem of the hydrogen economy and the issues related to the European power network

The creation of a European ecosystem of the hydrogen economy is just a matter of time. Currently, the most important is the development of renewable energy sources which support the development of the hydrogen economy. The ecosystem should be based on European technologies. Through this, we will not only ensure climate neutrality of the continent but we will also maintain competitiveness of the European economy and its strategic sovereignty and energy security

– said Minister Anna Moskwa during the panel devoted to hydrogen.

Our priority is, on the one hand, the energy transition while, on the other hand, ensuring the safety of the power system. When decarbonising the economies, we must remember about providing citizens with stable energy sources

– said the Minister of Climate and Environment during the second part of the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, the joint position on the energy transition, security, strengthening the European power network and creation a European ecosystem of the hydrogen economy was formally signed.
