Deputy Minister Adam Guibourgé-Czetwertyński emphasised that climate neutrality is one of the greatest challenges of the European Union in recent years.

“Climate neutrality is not only an environmental project, but also an economic one. We can benefit from the energy transition in Poland by providing the products needed to carry it out, creating jobs in Poland,” he said.

During the debate, the deputy minister also indicated that the transition would provide an impulse for the development of regions, favouring the growth of competitiveness and developing the potential for innovation in new specializations and technologies in the entire supply chain of components and products.

"In the draft Energy Policy of Poland until 2040, we estimate that in the coming decades, as much as 300,000 jobs will be created in areas related to renewable energy, offshore wind energy, electromobility and others. Some workplaces may be located where conventional energy is used today, but it will not be possible everywhere,” he said.
