Poland in Denmark

From 16 to 19 September, the festival of Polish-Danish Jazz Days took place in Copenhagen. The festival presented the richness of the Polish-Danish jazz scene and the joint Polish-Danish projects.

On 15 September 2021, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen, together with PAIH and the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI), organized a presentation of the Polish cybersecurity sector, the #CyberMadeinPoland cluster and Polish technological solutions entitled "Meet Polish Companies within Cybersecurity".

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen and the Polish state development bank BGK are pleased to invite you to “The Three Seas Initiative – connecting Europe, connecting regions” on 14 September 2021 from 12:00 to 14:45 at Langelinie Pavillonen.

On 14 September, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen in partnership with the Polish state development bank BGK, organized a conference “The Three Seas Initiative - connecting Europe, connecting regions” in Copenhagen. The aim of the event was to provide insight into priorities of the Three Seas Initiative and discuss investment opportunities stemming from the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund. Three Seas Initiative (3SI) promotes interconnectivity of infrastructure in the energy, transport and digital sectors on the north-south axis in full synergy with the EU strategic agenda and Next Generation ЕU. It brings together 12 countries located between the Baltic, Black, and Adriatic seas – Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria.

The film “Last Whistle” and the animation “Co-ognition” represented Poland at the film festival in Odense.

On 28 August at the OKS FC Sydvest Tonder stadium in Odense, a match between Denmark and Poland was held. After a fierce duel, Polish veterans from the units of the General Command of the Armed Forces won 2-0.

The charging fees issues for educational services by public universities are regulated in the Act of 20 July 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science, and in the case of non-public universities, they result from the internal regulations of these universities.

Colonel A. Sypniewski, Defence Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen and P. Petersen from the Danish team of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) on August 10, honoured the memory of Polish soldiers and airmen who died in Denmark during World War II.

On 9-10 August 2021, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen hosted a group of Polish experts interested in the Danish biogas market and regulations. As part of the two-day visit, meetings were held in i.a. Danish Energy Agency, State of Green and a visit to the Natur Energy biogas plant.
