Poland in Denmark

On 28 August at the OKS FC Sydvest Tonder stadium in Odense, a match between Denmark and Poland was held. After a fierce duel, Polish veterans from the units of the General Command of the Armed Forces won 2-0.

The charging fees issues for educational services by public universities are regulated in the Act of 20 July 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science, and in the case of non-public universities, they result from the internal regulations of these universities.

Colonel A. Sypniewski, Defence Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen and P. Petersen from the Danish team of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) on August 10, honoured the memory of Polish soldiers and airmen who died in Denmark during World War II.

Recently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been receiving reports of phone scams in which fraudsters claim to be either MFA’s employees or employees of Polish missions abroad to get the call recipients perform certain actions, especially money transfers. Usually, during the phone conversation scammers will inform you that you have failed to follow certain procedures or provided partial or false data while filling out forms, which will allegedly bring about legal consequences.

The Polish Orkiestra Muzyki Nowej (OMN) participated in the 10th jubilee edition of the I Djurs og Mols chamber music festival in Ebeltoft. In musical collaboration with Århus Sinfonietta and Ensemble Storstrøm - Danish Chamber Players, the OMN performed two concerts at the festival and presented to the Danish audience compositions by W. Lutosławski, K. Saariaho and P. Nørgård.

Aware of its role in supporting international academic exchange, internationalization of universities and research institutions as well as dissemination of information about the Polish system of higher education and science, the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA has launched a new platform, “Research in Poland”.

Poland will use the time after the pandemic to refashion its economic and social system so that it is more crisis-proof and equitable, setting the country on a new path of development.

As part of the Jewish Culture Festival in Copenhagen, on 6th June 2021, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen organized the screening of the film "Broken Dreams" directed by Tomasz Magierski.
