Jacek Tomczak Secretary of State

On 18 December 2023, on request of the Minister of Economic Development and Technology Krzysztof Hetman, Jacek Tomczak was appointed as the Secretary of State by the Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Graduate from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Faculty of Law). Legal councellor, notary and politician. Member of the Polish Sejm since 2005. In 1998-2005 the member of the Poznan City Council. Chairman of the Vocational Education and Training Committee of the Polish Chamber of Commerce.

Co-author of the family friendly amendments to the Flat for the Young programme. He has been many times awarded by the Greater Poland Chamber of Crafts for the activities promoting crafts and vocational education. Chairman of the Parliamentary Group for Crafts and Entrepreneurship. 

In the elections to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland held in October 2023, Jacek Tomacz was elected the Member of the Sejm of the 10th term.
