A groundbreaking European Space Agency centre will be established in Poland. It will be the first facility of its kind in the organisation's history to be located outside the territory of the Agency's founding Member States.

A stronger presence of Polish companies on the Ukrainian market, new financial instruments supporting investment, and the development of cooperation with partners from Ukraine and the European Union were the main areas of focus for Minister of Finance and Economy Andrzej Domański during the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdańsk. The conference brought together representatives of governments, financial institutions and businesses from around the world to work jointly on the reconstruction and modernisation of Ukraine.

The development of a TEEMA technology park in Poland, cooperation in the semiconductor, artificial intelligence and electromobility sectors, and preparations for another economic mission to Taiwan were the main topics of discussion during Taiwan Expo 2026 in Warsaw.

On 16 June this year, at the headquarters of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Minister of Finance and Economy Andrzej Domański presented a package of five investment impulses designed to accelerate Poland's economic development and create the best possible investment conditions for businesses. The package includes new grant instruments, support for clean technologies, strengthening of the Polish Investment Zone, reform of the KUKE guarantee system and the launch of the Accelerate_PL programme for promising technology start-ups. Their common objective is to increase the scale of private and public investment and strengthen the Polish economy's long-term growth potential.

The visit of Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Technology Michał Jaros to Taiwan confirmed the growing importance of Polish-Taiwanese relations. This applies in particular to new technologies, semiconductors, digital transformation and industrial investment.

On 11 March this year, Minister of Finance and Economy Andrzej Domański took part in the Polish-Swedish Conference on Innovation, Investment and Entrepreneurship. The event was one of the highlights of the programme of the visit to Poland by the Swedish royal couple and a Swedish government and business delegation.

From 7 to 9 February 2026, Minister of Finance and Economy Andrzej Domański visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia leading an economic delegation of Polish companies and state agencies. During the visit, the Minister met with Saudi Government officials and representatives of Saudi state funds and financial institutions to discuss opportunities for developing investment cooperation, industrial projects, services and exports.

Minister of Finance and Economy Andrzej Domański met with Vice-Chancellor and Minister of Finance of the Federal Republic of Germany Lars Klingbeil in Warsaw on 2 February 2026. The talks focused on key bilateral issues and the challenges facing the European economy.

Deputy Minister Michał Jaros attended the event and emphasised that this marks a new stage in economic cooperation between Poland and the United Arab Emirates, bringing together the potential of both countries in trade, investment and innovation.
