Minister Andrzej Domański visited Riyadh at the invitation of Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih. The ministers’ talks focused on the development of Polish-Saudi economic cooperation, particularly in investment cooperation, trade and innovation.

Poland wants to be a partner for Saudi Arabia not only in purchasing oil, but also in modernising the entire economy – from energy and IT, through food, to the defence sector. During Minister Domański’s meeting with Minister of Commerce Dr Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, the transition from rapidly growing trade to a long-term investment partnership based on joint projects were discussed.

– emphasised Minister Domański.

Team Poland participated in the Minister’s meetings with representatives of the National Development Fund and the Public Investment Fund. The talks focused on identifying opportunities for Polish companies to participate in projects financed by the funds, as well as cooperation on investment and strategic partnerships between the two countries.

In Riyadh, the Minister was accompanied by a large delegation of Polish entrepreneurs, including nearly 70 representatives of companies operating in sectors of key importance to the development of bilateral cooperation, such as energy, infrastructure, the digital economy (including IT, fintech and AI), agriculture and the food industry.

Representatives of government agencies and development institutions responsible for providing comprehensive support to Polish entrepreneurs seeking to enter and expand their presence in the Saudi market also took part in the visit, alongside representatives of organisations representing employers and entrepreneurs.

Polish-Saudi Business Forum

Minister Domański also attended the opening of the Polish-Saudi Business Forum, which brought together government representatives, business leaders and entrepreneurs from both countries.

We want to develop our cooperation in investment, industrial projects, services and exports. Poland is currently one of the fastest-growing economies in the EU and one of the most attractive destinations to invest in Central and Eastern Europe

– said Minister Domański.

In his opening address, the Minister identified areas of mutual interest where specific, commercially viable projects can be developed.

In particular, I see potential for cooperation between Polish and Saudi businesses in energy, IT, fintech, AI, construction, smart infrastructure and food security

Two memoranda of cooperation were signed during the Forum. The agreement between Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and KUKE, on the one hand, and Saudi EXIM Bank, on the other, concerns, among other things, supporting exports of goods and services and bilateral investment Poland and Saudi Arabia, as well as jointly promoting projects of economic importance. The memorandum between Employers of Poland and the Federation of Saudi Chambers focuses on their commitment to develop cooperation and provide support to Polish and Saudi entities.

During the Forum, participants had an opportunity to attend sectoral discussions in four thematic areas: the digital economy, agritech, infrastructure and energy.
The visit marked a continuation of the dialogue initiated during a meeting between the Polish and Saudi officials in Warsaw in September 2025.
