#PolskaInwestuje - five economic programmes
16.06.2026
On 16 June this year, at the headquarters of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Minister of Finance and Economy Andrzej Domański presented a package of five investment impulses designed to accelerate Poland's economic development and create the best possible investment conditions for businesses. The package includes new grant instruments, support for clean technologies, strengthening of the Polish Investment Zone, reform of the KUKE guarantee system and the launch of the Accelerate_PL programme for promising technology start-ups. The solutions presented are intended to support investment in modern industry, the energy transition and future technologies, as well as accelerate the development of Polish companies. Their common objective is to increase the scale of private and public investment and strengthen the Polish economy's long-term growth potential.
The Polish economy has reached a point where it can make another major leap forward. Stable macroeconomic fundamentals, strong economic growth and improving investment conditions are creating scope for new projects that will build the country’s competitiveness over the coming decades.
We cannot live off the capital of the past. Today, we are building the conditions for another decade of economic growth. That is why we are investing in energy, digitalisation, modern industry and the development of the capital market. The year 2026 is to be the year in which investment, alongside consumption, becomes the main engine of economic growth
– emphasised Minister Andrzej Domański.
Poland seizes the opportunity to enter the next stage of development
Forecasts by international institutions once again place Poland among the fastest-growing economies in the European Union. However, economic growth cannot be taken for granted.
That is why a broad deregulation agenda, the energy transition and the digital modernisation of the state are being pursued in parallel. In recent months, hundreds of changes simplifying business activity have been implemented, investment processes have been accelerated and further infrastructure projects have been launched.
Future development is built when the economy is strong. That is precisely when we need to invest, modernise the state and create the conditions for the next stage of growth
– Minister Domański pointed out.
Investment in energy and future technologies
The government is implementing the largest energy transition programme in modern Polish history. It covers the development of nuclear power, renewable energy sources, energy storage facilities, new gas-fired capacity and the expansion of transmission grids.
At the same time, the foundations of the digital transformation are being strengthened. Projects related to artificial intelligence, data infrastructure, space technologies and modern industry are being developed in Poland.
The objective of these measures is to create a lasting competitive advantage for Poland and attract the most technologically advanced investments.
Five investment impulses for the Polish economy
1. New grant programme supporting investment until 2035
The programme will be larger than the current support system. It will focus on projects strengthening economic security, the development of modern industry, automation, robotisation and strategic technologies.
The instrument is intended to help Poland compete effectively for the most advanced industrial and technology investments.
2. Clean technology investment support programme (CISAF)
Under the programme, PLN 5 billion in grants and PLN 1.25 billion in corporate income tax relief, will be allocated to support new investment.
The objective is to develop production and technologies related to the energy transition and create new jobs and capabilities in Poland.
3. Strengthening the Polish Investment Zone
The government will extend the operation of the investor support system and increase the validity period of support decisions from 15 to 20 years.
An electronic Polish Investment Zone (ePSI) will also be created to simplify and speed up services for businesses.
4. KUKE 2.0 – expansion of the guarantee programme
The new guarantee instruments will support not only exports, but also investments related to economic security, the energy transition, infrastructure and modern industry.
The estimated value of additional financing mobilised through the new solutions could exceed PLN 10 billion.
5. Accelerate_PL
Accelerate_PL will be a nationwide system supporting promising technology start-ups.
The programme will bring together investment funds, accelerators, businesses, experts and organisations supporting innovation, creating an integrated investment network that will provide conditions for faster growth of Polish companies at an early stage of their development.
A strong capital market to support investment
The development of the capital market remains an important element of the investment strategy. The Warsaw Stock Exchange is recording record levels of activity among investors and companies raising financing for growth.
To strengthen this trend, the government is working on the introduction of Personal Investment Accounts, the development of the ETF market and further instruments supporting the financing of innovative companies.
Investment as the main engine of growth
Our ambition is not to have one good year. Our ambition is to create a new development model. A model of an economy that not only catches up with others, but sets the pace of change itself
– emphasised Minister Andrzej Domański.
The programmes presented create a coherent investment support system – from start-ups and innovation, through financing and guarantees, to large industrial and energy projects.
Their common objective is to increase the scale of private and public investment, accelerate the modernisation of the economy and build Poland’s long-term competitiveness.
